Turning "Fake" Orgonites into the Real Thing
Every now and then, at Duft Creations, I come across pieces being sold as orgonites that contain little more than resin and a few crystals suspended inside.
While they may look attractive, many are missing what I consider to be the essential components needed for a genuine, functioning orgonite. Rather than seeing these pieces as a lost cause, I see potential.
Instead of letting them sit unused, I incorporate them into my own creations, embedding them within larger orgonite pieces and surrounding them with the materials that form the foundation of every Duft Creations orgonite.
It's a bit like giving them a second chance.
Each piece is transformed by adding the core elements I use throughout my work, including Copper, Brass, Aluminium, Clear Quartz and Shungite. These materials are carefully layered and combined to create what Duft Creations believes are the key ingredients of a powerful orgonite.
Clear Quartz acts as a natural amplifier, helping to enhance and direct energy. Shungite is included for its grounding and protective qualities, while the various metals contribute to the balance between organic and inorganic materials that is central to traditional orgonite construction.
The original piece doesn't disappear - it simply becomes part of something larger.
What started life as a resin casting with a crystal inside is incorporated into a much more complete energetic system designed to support amplification, grounding, protection and energetic balance.
I actually enjoy this process. There's something satisfying about taking a piece that only resembles an orgonite and transforming it into one that contains all the elements I personally believe are necessary for it to function as intended.
The photo below shows some of these so-called "orgonites" waiting patiently for their next life. Before long, they'll be embedded within new Duft Creations pieces, becoming part of unique creations that carry far more than their original form ever could.
Nothing wasted. Nothing discarded. Simply transformed.
Unique. Original. And definitely different.
